Laundry......one of my most dreaded chores of the week. I tend to put it off and put it off (maybe secretly hoping Jason will help me fold it & put it all away....I should know by now that that isn't going to happen.) So this is about a week n' a half worth of the Whiting Family's laundry sitting on our bed begging to be folded! I finally drug it all out of the laundry room yesterday and piled it onto the bed to help remind myself that 1- the laundry room is only so big that when you can't hardly make your way through it without stumbling through clothes its probably time to fold the laundry. & 2- when your husband and kids can't find a clean pair of underwear well, its probably time to fold the laundry. Needless to say, I finally got the laundry folded!
Shanda I so hate laundry too! I have never been a laundry person. We have it piling up as I write! I need to get on that, but my excuse keeps being, when I get done with work we will get caught up!! We'll see next week huh!
On the radio the other day, they were saying that a stay-at-home mom would make about 150,000 a year for all the duties they do. Then they asked which of the duties would they be paid for most, and my answer was LAUNDRY. I can only imagine what it will be like when I have kids.
When people ask Jason & I how we met we always tell them, "He got my brother a job, my brother got him a wife!" Jason and I became friends when I was introduced to a group of St. Johns boys at a missionary farewell with my brother Steven. At the time Jason and I didn't have much to do w/ eachother, after all I was one of those 'snotty Snowflake girls', right J!?! I dated one of his best friends and was always trying to set him up with my roomates to go out on double dates w/ us (he was always the life of the party and kept us laughing). Time went on as we both moved in and out of realtionships. It wasn't until I had left the Valley and moved home when 2 little match makers decided for us that we would get married. Steven and Amy must have been inspired, bored, or just needed some entertainment. So it was set, our first date!!! We went to the IMPROV, dinner, back to his place for a movie and a kiss (AHHH)...(and like the rhyme goes...) and then came marriage and the baby in the baby carriage!!! The Whiting Fam: S- J- Crew- Trip- & baby Mia!!!
