Edible Bouquet's

My beautiful edible bouquet's minutes before tragedy struck! So let me tell you my little tragic story: The day was May 31st. I was making edible boutique's, for the 1st time, to take visit teaching. Yes, on the last day of the month, trying to get my visiting teaching done. I was so proud of my bouquet's and was so sure my ladies would love them......then it happened......as I walked out of the back door I dropped them! My heart literally stopped and all I could do was cry. Yes, I cried like a little girl. I walked back into the house trying to keep it together and to take a moment to remember to breathe. And that's when Jason came to my rescue. He knew how proud I was of my bouquet's and like my knight n' shining armour he helped make it better. He cleaned up the disaster that was left outside and instantly started to rebuild them. We cut more fruit, poked more fingers, and laughed through the tears, and still got them done just in enough time to still deliver them to my Sisters. It was another little bump, Heavenly Father, threw in the road for me, to help teach me that obstacles are easily to be overcome. And maybe to not put off your visiting teaching until the last day of the month (it causes you to be in a rush, forget the importance of the visit, and makes you drop beautiful bouquet's on the ground!) I am just lucky enough that He has directed Jason onto my path to help me around those bumps.

"What to do when adversity strikes? There is only one thing to do. Stand steady and see it through. Stay steadfast, constant, and true. The real tragedy in the whirlwinds of life comes only when we allow them to blow us off our true course."

A Dozen Reason's Why I Love My Husband

I always see cute little messages on other peoples blog's about all the things they love about their hubbies and thought I would copy a few of them, only with the things I love about MY husband. So here we go, a dozen reason's why I love my husband:
1- He let's me opt to take only 1 child grocrey shopping, don't worry, I get to choose which one :)
2- He always let's me watch the game with him, no matter what else is on :)
3- He is so sweet, that sometimes, he even let's me clean his pee off the toilet :) (even if he swears it's not his.)
4- He always let's me fold his clothes and underwear. And never forgets to tell me how to fold them the "right way" too :)
5- He always lets me cook him dinner. I just love to cook! And I always get to do the dishes too! :)
6- Sometimes he indulges me with allowing me to give him a foot massage because he has had such a long day :)
Now, aren't I the luckiest girl ever! Of course, Jason is good to me. (sometimes too good) Now, I really do like him. In fact, I LOVE him. (despite him being a man....)
7- He is a good listener when I am sobbing about nothing because I have PMS.
8- He is a romantic......
9- He changes poopy diapers. (sometimes)
10- He is always the first to say sorry.
11- He calls me on his way home from work just to tell me where he is and that he is coming home....and I don't ask him to.
12- He always tells me he loves me in the morning, just before leaving to work, even if I don't remember.
